Travelers Checks:  Members can purchase American Express Checks.  A single signer is $1 for every $100.  Two signers are $1.50 per $100. 

Wire Transfers:  Members can send and receive funds anywhere in the U.S. and also International.  Outgoing wires are $10, Incoming wires are $9 and International wires are $35.

Notary Service:   A certified Notary Public is on-site at the Sherwood branch location.  A small fee of $7.50 will be charged.

Direct Deposit / Drafts:  You may choose to have your payroll or government checks automatically deposited into an account and have direct draft payments taken out of your account(s) via ACH (American Clearing House).  Direct Deposit Form 

24 Hour Telephone Banking:  1.800-361-1631 or 225-273-1529 (option 1) Allows you to access your account information any time of day via the telephone.

24 Hour Loan Line:  225.381.5790 Allows you to apply for a loan over the telephone using a computer automated questionnaire.

Credit Life Insurance:  Insurance that you can purchase in the event of your death, the policy will pay off the loan.  The cost of the insurance is added to your premium and is based on the loan terms.

Credit Disability Insurance:  Insurance that you can purchase in the event you become disabled during the loan.  Cost of the insurance is added to your premium and is based on the loan terms.

GAPP Insurance:  Insurance that you can purchase to protect you from a total loss on your automobile.  Cost is added to monthly note. 

Extended Warranty:  Mechanical breakdown insurance for new and used cars, boats, etc.

Home Banking:  View your account balance, transactions, and transfer funds to and from Breco Federal Credit Union accounts.  There is no charge for this service.  Click here to sign-up for home banking. 

Pay Bills Online: You can sign up for Internet Bill Payer in our Home Banking webpage and pay various bills online from your Breco account.  The service is free if it is used at least one time a month.  If it is not used there is a fee of $4.95. 

Shared Service Center Network:  Breco belongs to a nationwide shared branching network.  Breco members can access their accounts at any of the outlet locations in Louisiana, 5 Louisiana Service Center locations (that are open late and on Saturdays) and thousands of outlet locations throughout the United States.  Find a location near you!

ATMs:  Breco has an ATM at the Sherwood location, River Bend Nuclear Facility and at the Shaw Building on Essen Lane.  These ATMs are free to use for Breco members.  Breco members can also use the Service Center ATMs, Select ATMs and all CU24 Here ATMs free.  Find a location near your!

Automatic Transfer:  You are allowed 3 automatic overdraft transfers per month (for $5 each occurrence) from your savings account to your checking account when there are not enough funds to cover a check 

Overdraft Privilege: Qualified checking account members (those in good standing) have an extra overdraft  protection of up to $300  to avoid returned-check fees.  (We will charge our normal overdraft fee of $25, but it will still be less expensive than bouncing a check!)

E-Statements:  Receive your normal monthly or quarterly paper statement in electronic format.  E-Statements are a free and secure service provided to you.  Sign up for  E-Statements at our Home Banking webpage under Statement Delivery. 

Visa Gift Cards:  Pre-paid Visa gift cards sell for $3.00.  The dollar amount can be between $10 and $500.  The Visa gift cards can be used anywhere that Visa is accepted; except for hotels, pay at the pump, and car rentals.
